Dahi Baray Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  1. Yellow lentils (mong lentil) 1 cup
  2. White lentils (mash lentil )1/2 cup
  3. Cumin 1 tsp
  4. Dry ginger (saunth) 1/2 tsp
  5. Onion (chopped) 1
  6. Baking soda 1 tsp
  7. Yoghurt 4 cup
  8. Water 1-2 cup
  9. Salt as to taste
  10. Sugar 3 tbsp
  11. Chaat spice 2 tbsp

Recipe Method

  1. Grind together yellow lentils, white lentils and cumin.
  2. Also grind dry ginger, onion and baking soda together.
  3. Mix them all well.
  4. Make bara balls and fry them till golden.
  5. Add yoghurt in a bowl.
  6. Now add some water, salt, sugar and chaat spice in it.
  7. Mix the yoghurt mixture well.
  8. Add theses balls in yoghurt mixture.
