PM Nawaz Sharif playing cricket with girls in OSLO
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was in Norway to participate in ‘Oslo Summit on Education for Development.’ At the end of the summit, Pakistani premier met Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. The two agreed that Pakistan must make great strides for education of nation’s children. Malala told PM Nawaz, “It is my responsibility as a Pakistani to return to Pakistan and help people there.”
After his meetings with officials, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Furuset Sports Hall in Oslo and played cricket with women cricketers. Reportedly, he also witnessed a friendly cricket match between women teams and bowled at Norwegian PM.
