Shami Kababs Recipe Ingredients
- Egg 1
- Gram dhal 4 oz
- Salt to taste
- Minced meat 1 1/2 lb
- Ghee
Chop coarsely:
- Blanched almonds 1 dozen
- Chopped coriander 1 tsp leaves
- Green chillies 2
- Egg 1 hardboiled
- Onion 1 medium
Grind to a paste:
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Dry red chilli 1
- Ginger 1 piece
- Cloves garlic 3
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cooking directions:
- Grind together with the masala paste finely, break in the raw egg and mix well.
- Shape into balls or flat cakes and put a little of the chopped masala in the center of each kabab.
- Heat ghee for shallow frying and fry till richly browned.
- In order to full savour the taste of these shami kababs, serve with onion rings and slices of lime.
